Job Summary

Account Executive to manage a defined sales territory within SMB, driving revenue to meet quota. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, advocating for the BeyondTrust Privilege Access Management platform, documenting customers’ business/IT goals in CRM, collaborating with field sales, solving customer issues, sourcing quality leads, and maintaining accurate activity and forecast records. Required skills include: building executive relationships, quota attainment, strong communication and negotiation abilities, experience selling security/IT software (PAM/Identity Management), Salesforce expertise, prospecting, and team selling. Nice-to-have: experience in cybersecurity software and high-growth environments. The role emphasizes telephone-based activity and collaboration within a sales team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4+ years customer-facing sales experience with security, PAM, Identity Management, or IT related software
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quota
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively present and sell a technical solution
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills; emphasis on telephone-based activity
  • Ability to work in a team selling environment
  • Experience with SalesForce.com
  • Ability to find and uncover new opportunities with prospects and existing business, cold calling and hunting for business
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills
  • IT Knowledge – Microsoft tools knowledge and the ability to use as needed
