Job Summary
Account Executive responsible for selling cable, satellite, and streaming advertising time to clients and their agencies, achieving quarterly and annual budgets; develop customized media strategies to target agency portfolios; maintain knowledge of local market cable assets and digital opportunities; collaborate with internal teams to build ongoing advertising strategies; apply media math, targeting tools, and Microsoft Office in avail creation and pitches; build relationships with agencies and affiliates with a focus on value, integrity, and credibility; employ effective sales techniques across all phases of the sales process (meetings, questioning, objections handling, negotiating, presenting features/benefits, competitive analysis).
Required Qualifications
- Media sales experience required
- Comprehension of spot cable and ability to clearly present its attributes to advertisers
- Clear understanding of media math
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written/oral communication skills
