Job Summary
Account Executive to drive growth for VC3 in Alabama by owning the full sales cycle from cold outreach to close for B2B IT services and solutions. Proactively source and engage new prospects to develop new accounts, build relationships with decision makers, and connect client challenges to tailored VC3 products and services. Responsibilities include developing sales presentations, quotes, and proposals; preparing thorough activity reports; attending local networking events and trade shows; and leveraging consultative, solution-based selling to meet quotas. Requires 3+ years of B2B sales experience in a hunting role; IT/services/ MSP/ cloud/ cybersecurity exposure is desirable; municipal-client experience is a strong asset. Compensation includes base salary ($70k–$90k) plus uncapped commission, with CJIS background checks post-employment and promotional growth opportunities through leadership development programs.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience selling B2B products or services in a quota-bearing hunting role
- 3+ years of experience with consultative solution-based sales, client need assessments and sales strategy, including business case development, presentations, proposals, closing the sale, and client follow up
- IT services/solutions sales experience, or any combination of MSP, cloud, VOIP, cybersecurity sales experience and knowledge is an asset
- Experience with municipal clients/leaders a strong asset
