Job Summary
Account Executive for Axon's Air program handling drones and counter-drone solutions for domestic law enforcement; territory Northeast; remote within territory with requirement to live within 1 hour of a major airport; travel 60%+; responsibilities include developing deep technical understanding of Air offerings, partnering with sales team, generating leads, managing accounts in Salesforce, delivering value propositions, forecasting, and expanding existing accounts. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years in SaaS account executive roles, CRM experience, and travel willingness; knowledge of drones and cloud/virtualization is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent applicable experience
- 5+ years in a SaaS Account Executive role
- Salesforce or equivalent CRM experience
- Highly proficient MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Prominent organization and presentation skills
- Willing to travel 60% or more within your territory (3-4 days a week, including overnights)
- Strong understanding of drones, cloud and virtualization technology
- Ability to win accounts and grow existing ones
- Solutions/Consultative sales approach
- End-to-end sales process experience (prospecting, discovery, objection handling, closing)
- Ownership of a multi-state territory
