Job Summary
Account Executive responsible for specification activity in assigned territories, building direct relationships with key designers through face-to-face meetings and product presentations, coordinating with internal sales and cross-functional teams to provide high-level service, and using Salesforce to track projects from specification through completion. Role involves identifying top commercial firms in the geographic market, developing relationships with decision-makers to secure regional/national specifications, maintaining product/technical knowledge, delivering product updates to customers, and collaborating with project managers and contractor account reps to ensure proper pricing for quotes. Travel within territory required; no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in sales with territory management
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build relationships with designers and key decision-makers
- Track record of managing end-to-end sales cycles
- Willingness to travel within territory
- Ability to provide product updates and education to customers
