Job Summary

Account Executive responsible for managing the full sales cycle across Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Delaware, and Pennsylvania, including prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing mid-size opportunities. Build and expand revenue by cross-selling solutions, develop relationships with key decision makers, tailor solutions to needs, maintain accurate CRM forecasts, contribute to RFP responses, align with Marketing and Product teams, and meet annual sales targets. Requires travel >50%, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), 2-4 years of software sales experience to state and local governments, strong communication/negotiation/presentation skills, and proficiency with CRM/Sales tools. Compensation includes base salary ($100k-$120k) plus discretionary bonus; remote in the US available.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years of sales experience, preferably with software to state & local governments
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and time management skills
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Sales tools
  • Prior experience in correctly qualifying new opportunities and accurately forecasting
  • Ability to travel in excess of 50%
