Account Director

The Account Director is a knowledgeable industry-focused seller responsible for developing relationships and driving business with high potential Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) accounts. Primary responsibilities include planning and executing sales strategies to improve consideration and win rates across the AEC account base, maintaining deep knowledge of industry trends, and applying that knowledge to create new opportunities in partnership with Wyndham’s Third Party relationships. Core duties include developing and executing strategic account plans for AEC accounts, increasing managed AEC accounts, understanding the AEC sales model in relation to Wyndham properties and quality levels, and collaborating with Sales Operations, Sales Development, Sales Specialists, Marketing, and Wyndham Corporate account teams to drive sales activity and volume. You will actively measure customer performance, serve as the point of contact for day-to-day needs of key AEC customers, and demonstrate solution selling, government procurement acumen, and strong CRM capabilities (Salesforce.com, CVENT, Microsoft Office) to manage complex sales cycles and reporting. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, at least 6 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in sales, a track record of managing a $12M+ quota, and proficiency in account planning, forecasting, and industry-specific selling in the Hospitality/Infrastructure/Government travel space.
