Job Summary
Senior Account Director role leading flagship client accounts in a Leicester-based agency. Responsibilities include partnering with the MD to provide senior input, directing strategy with the Insight & Strategy Director, acting as the senior client lead across two major accounts, managing and supporting a Senior Project Manager and Marketing Executive, developing account strategies, identifying growth opportunities, overseeing delivery excellence, owning profitability/utilisation/fee negotiation, and contributing to new business through proposals, pitches, and brief evaluation. Requires proven experience in an agency setting with strong B2B knowledge, budget and performance management, leadership of cross-functional teams, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Hybrid working with minimum 3 days per week in Leicester city centre office; salary £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience; employee bonus scheme." ,
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience operating as an Account Director within an agency environment
- Strong B2B experience, with an understanding of complex products and long sales cycles
- Proven ability to lead client strategy while maintaining attention to detail in delivery
- Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and account performance
- Strong organisational and leadership capabilities, with experience managing team members
- Experience working across integrated projects, including digital campaigns, websites, and branding
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders
