Job Summary
Orchestrates RFP strategy calls, develops client proposals, and negotiates contracts to sign new business authorizations at or above assigned goals. Conducts cold calls and client visits, maintaining sales databases and activity reports while ensuring satisfaction through periodic contact and addressing client requests. Leverages bioanalytical and biomarker services expertise to build executive-level relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech decision-makers. Requires 5+ years in pharma/biotech, 25-50% travel, and fluency in English. Based in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, or Maryland.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- demonstrated success in meeting/exceeding targets
- Valid driver's license
- ability to travel independently
- Strong scientific and technical knowledge of drug development, clinical trials, and laboratory services
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision makers
- Excellence in consultative selling, proposal development, and contract negotiations
- Strong presentation and communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders
- Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Proven ability to work independently while collaborating across matrix organizations
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Strategic thinking and business knowledge to identify and develop opportunities
- Ability to travel 25-50% of time for client meetings and business development
- Fluent English
