Job Summary
This upcoming Account Director role on the partnerships team involves overseeing partnership marketing and activation programming in collaboration with client teams and agency partners. Responsibilities include developing and implementing partnership strategies, evaluating sponsorship opportunities, supporting contract negotiations, and leading research and analytics efforts. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in agency or brand account management, particularly in the music industry, and have a proven track record in managing teams and client relationships, as well as talent and sponsorship contract negotiations. Excellent strategic thinking, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities are essential.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of agency, brand or client-based partnership account management experience
- Prior experience in managing the development and implementation of partnership marketing strategies and activations
- Prior experience managing a team/individuals
- Prior experience managing day-to-day relationships with clients, agencies, and vendors
- Experience working within the Music industry
- Prior experience with sponsorship contract negotiations
- Talent contract negotiation experience
- Understanding of, and practical experience with, event marketing operations and logistics
- Proven ability to prioritize workflow, manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects across large cross-functional teams independently and diligently while delivering pre-defined goals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with client/account management experience required
- Ability to think strategically and creatively, and to problem-solve independently and in groups
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, written and oral communication skills
- Enthusiastic and flexible team-first player with a proactive approach
- Ability to travel a minimum of 25% of the time
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
