Job Summary

Account Director for Large Enterprise within OpenAI's Go To Market team, responsible for managing a small number of key enterprise accounts, developing and executing comprehensive account plans, and leading prospects through the entire sales cycle from pipeline generation to closure. Collaborates with solutions and research engineering to build and execute complex customer programs, owns a consumption revenue target and forecasts, analyzes key account metrics, and provides insights to stakeholders. Partners with multiple functions (solutions, marketing, operations, finance, product management, engineering) and supports recruitment and onboarding of teammates. Must engage with C-level executives, design and execute strategic account strategies, and drive adoption of OpenAI’s AI products across customers' businesses. Native or near-native language ability is required, and the role is based in Stockholm, Sweden with remote work options available.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years selling platform-as-a-service and/or software-as-a-service
  • Achieving revenue targets >$2M per year for more than 3 years
  • Designing and executing complex deal strategies
  • Working directly with C-level executives
  • Communicating technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Leading high-visibility customer events (CAB, conferences, product launches)
  • Gathering, distilling, and processing complex market intelligence
  • Native or near-native local language ability
