Job Summary
Own and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise clients by selling IDC's Research & Data, Custom Solutions, and Events portfolios to the technology sector. Manage existing accounts through relationship maintenance, renewal negotiations, and contract improvements while acquiring new business via prospecting and full sales cycle execution. Customize proposals to meet customer requirements, drive revenue expansion, and accurately report the sales pipeline in Salesforce. Collaborate with Analysts, Consultants, and other sales professionals to deliver value-based solutions and meet budgeted targets. This role requires a Hunter Mentality with 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, bi-lingual English and German skills, and the ability to travel. Hybrid work is required with 1-2 days in the office per week.
Required Qualifications
- Hunter Mentality: Self-driven, results-oriented, and skilled at pipeline generation and strategic territory management within complex stakeholder environments
- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a proven track record in strategic account management and expansion
- Strong executive presence, relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence at the C-suite level
- Proven experience in managing the full sales cycle, including prospecting and direct engagement
- Strong passion for acquiring new logos with a successful track record of onboarding major clients
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a remote team environment
- BA/BS level degree or equivalent
- Bi-lingual English + German
- Strong presentation, writing, critical thinking, and negotiation skills
- Self-starter with good organization and time management skills; able to work at fast pace, to achieve targets & business goals
- Very strong presentation skills to senior level executives
- Must have the ability to travel from time to time
