Job Summary
Manage and develop a portfolio of luxury agency accounts to maximize market share and revenues for IHG brands. Create strategic global account plans, network within accounts to identify key decision-makers, and collaborate with hotel sales teams to drive bookings. Conduct client meetings, plan familiarization tours, and handle client queries while monitoring competitor activities. Maintain accurate sales records, control expenses, and ensure annual account planning is completed per regional policy. Work remotely from Michigan, Illinois, or Massachusetts with 40% travel to the Northeastern U.S. and Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, Management, Business, or a relevant field of work
- 6-8 years progressive work-related experience in the service industry
- at least 4 years in multi-unit or corporate roles in a hotel setting
- demonstrated understanding of technical and business knowledge
- understanding of multiple disciplines/processes related to the position
- Strong knowledge of luxury consortia networks and agency partners across Canada and the Northeastern US
- In-depth knowledge of sales principles and techniques
