Job Summary
Account Director responsible for strategic leadership, operational oversight, and delivery of all contractual obligations for the Consolidated Facilities Management (CFM) Services contract across multiple federal locations. Oversees facilities management, operations and maintenance, elevator and landscaping services; serves as primary client contact (GSA); ensures compliance with Quality Control Program (QCP) and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP); manages preventive and corrective maintenance, work orders, inspections, and scheduled services in NCMMS; drives contract compliance, safety, security, sustainability, and environmental management; leads financial management including budgeting, invoicing, and reporting; maintains strong client relationships and drives continuous improvement; ensures wage determinations and labor relations compliance for covered employees; requires Bachelor’s degree and 8-10 years of management experience in facilities/government accounts; US work authorization required; location on-site in Chicago, IL; salary range $140k-$160k per year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in facilities management or related field, with at least 5 years in a senior management role overseeing large, multi-site contracts or government accounts
- Experience managing union labor and compliance with collective bargaining agreements preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal government contract requirements and performance-based service delivery
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances and suitability determinations as specified
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFM, PMP, LEED AP) are a plus
- Personal Leadership: Ability to inspire trust, demonstrate high integrity and ethical standards, adapt and learn quickly
