Job Summary
Senior Account Development Manager for Radial Piston Motors driving significant sales growth by linking customer applications with global sales, engineering and manufacturing. Leverage deep hydraulics knowledge to develop key accounts, provide technical leadership, architect and sell complete system solutions, and influence product development through close collaboration with Scotland-based manufacturing and engineering. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, pricing strategy development, CRM documentation, relationship management with customers and distributors, and delivering high-impact technical and sales presentations. Requires 5+ years in mobile hydraulics, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Power, or related field (equivalent experience considered), and travel >50%. Travel and relationship-building across global accounts are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years direct experience in the mobile hydraulics industry
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Power, or related field preferred; equivalent extensive industry experience considered
- Proven success in a technical sales or application engineering role with sales targets and account development
- Sales acumen and ability to develop pricing strategies
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Experience using CRM tools to document opportunities and coordinate sales activities
- Holistic understanding of mobile machine systems including hydraulics, electronics, and controls
- Ability to travel >50% of the time
- Ability to provide technical leadership and apply mechanical/hydraulic knowledge to system solutions
