Job Summary
Electrical maintenance of machinery and plant including fault-finding and root-cause analysis; perform planned preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability; conduct inspections, testing and safety checks in line with regulations; support installation, commissioning, upgrades and modification projects; work on AC/DC motors, control circuits, sensors, drives, PLC systems, and LV/HV installations; cable sizing, glanding and terminations; maintain accurate maintenance records and reports; support continuous improvement and assist in training apprentices; liaise with operators, supervisors and colleagues to complete work effectively; work independently with high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified electrician with industrial maintenance experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and machine documentation
- Experience with testing, inspection, and compliance
- Competent with Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and CAFM systems
- PLC/CNC/robotics advantageous
- Strong safety awareness, experience working at heights and in confined spaces
