Job Summary
Account Coordinator for the Small Business Unit responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and execution of policy documents, renewals, and day-to-day servicing requests for small personal lines accounts. Serves as primary client contact, provides recommendations on coverage changes in partnership with the Account Management Team, researches and resolves client questions, supports remarketing of renewals, creates proposals, reviews policies for accuracy with carriers, expedites endorsements and applications, coordinates with carriers to address settlements, and communicates significant audit differences to clients. Keeps abreast of industry information, new products, legislation, coverage, and technology, including using proprietary AI solutions to deliver best-in-class client service. Requires P&C license, 2+ years of client service experience in personal lines, and willingness to travel. Strong PowerPoint, Excel, Word skills and interpersonal abilities are essential, with bilingual ability (Spanish/English) a plus in some locations.
Required Qualifications
- Property and Casualty License from state of domicile is required and must be maintained
- AINS and/or CISR designation preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Four-year degree preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of client service experience in the insurance industry with a focus on personal lines
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus or a must in some locations
- Must have a valid driver’s license, ability to travel to client sites and reliable transportation
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of commercial lines of coverage
