Job Summary
Account Consultant for Surgical Eye Care specializing in field-based sales, consultative and value-based selling to community/private practices and hospitals/health systems; responsibilities include educating clinicians and hospital personnel, identifying customer needs across training, clinical, operational, and reimbursement areas; training residents and fellows; collaborating with Account Specialists to promote products for approved indications; ensuring compliance with reports and promotional policies; leveraging sales and data resources to meet franchise goals; requires ability to travel, obtain HCIR credentials, and meet credentialing requirements; compensation includes base pay and potential incentives; minimum educational and credentialing requirements and license to drive with safe driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
- Relevant and equivalent industry experience required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree is at least five (5) years of technical experience with three (3) or more years of experience within sales preferred
- Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products is preferred, in both health systems and private practice.
