Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and client service before ramping up to direct showroom duties. Provide exceptional front desk coverage while advising clients on product attributes through market analysis and networking. Identify and cold call potential clients, creating strategic marketing plans and delivering pre/post-visit reports to senior management. Prepare sales documents to initiate and close deals, collaborate on installation layouts, and grow the client base to meet sales goals. Service existing accounts according to best practices and support Account Managers with pre-sale tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a strong interest in the interior design trade
- Must possess interpersonal skills
- Must possess communication skills
- Must possess computer skills
- Associate or B.A. / B.S. Degree preferably in Interior Design or related field
- Minimum 2 years retail or to-the-trade sales experience
- Acceptable score on Sales Assessment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the design industry preferred
