Job Summary
Account Architect on Bell’s Bell Business Markets team focusing on pre-sales architecture for enterprise customers. Responsibilities include leading customer teams to translate business needs into technology solutions across IP Networks, Security, Datacenter, Cloud, IoT, Mobility/5G, and related services; designing and integrating potential solutions, creating detailed equipment lists (BoM), documenting proposals with scope of work and diagrams; evaluating IT strategic contexts to identify opportunities and ensuring alignment of client IT strategies with Bell’s portfolios; guiding architecture guidelines and providing implementation support to Bell internal teams and customers; requires strong technical expertise, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to present and defend technical recommendations; must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or CS or equivalent, 5 years in related architectures, cloud hosting knowledge, consulting experience, and relevant certifications; French language ability required for Quebec postings; hybrid work arrangement in Canada with at least 3 days per week anchored to a Bell office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5 years' experience developing LAN/WAN/Wireless/Security/Cloud/IoT, planning and implementation of information, technology and application architectures
- Knowledge of Cloud hosting solutions with leading providers
- Relevant experience in consulting services
- Thorough knowledge of implementation and integration of business oriented IT architecture and models, and analysis of complex technical environments
- Ability to work alongside a sales team with a view to developing solutions tailored to customers’ needs
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, able to negotiate to build partnerships with a network of stakeholders
- 1 or more of the following certifications: Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, DELLEMC and/or HP
- Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
