Job Summary
Account Analyst in Private Client Services supports account management teams with administrative service functions across Personal Insurance, Business Insurance, and Employee Benefits. Responsibilities include processing cancellations, non-renewals, and reinstatements; collecting and updating census information; reviewing and processing applications, binders, endorsements, renewals, and new business policies, census/enrollment requests, and certificates of insurance; handling billing questions and requests for insurance verification; preparing premium quotations on new, renewal, and policy-change scenarios; understanding carrier online capabilities; adhering to departmental procedures; and continuing professional development. Required qualifications include 2+ years of insurance industry experience (preferably Personal Lines in a brokerage), active P&C license or willingness to obtain within 90 days, strong communication and relationship-building skills, MS Office proficiency, and excellent time management and attention to detail. A Bachelor’s degree in related fields and experience with Salesforce or Epic are a plus. The role offers hybrid work with Marsh McLennan Agency benefits and a base salary between $49,000 and $91,300 plus incentives.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of insurance industry experience, ideally Personal Lines in a brokerage environment
- Active P&C insurance license or willingness to obtain within first 90 days
- Effective oral and written communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong time management and organization skills with attention to detail
- Experience with preparing premium quotations for new, renewal, and policy changes
- Familiarity with processing notices (cancellations, non-renewals, reinstatements), census information, applications, binders, endorsements, renewals, and certificates of insurance
- Ability to handle billing questions and insurance verifications
- Understanding of carrier online capabilities for billing and processing
- Ability to follow department procedures and participate in ongoing learning
