Account Administrator- Large Group

Job Summary
Manage account management duties for 51+ sized clients, including processing benefit quote requests, new business quotes, RFPs, and account worksheets. Review certificates, maintain WebBen systems, audit ID cards and rates, and oversee groups reporting. Resolve elevated issues regarding claims, eligibility, plan design, billing, and enrollment by interacting with clients, brokers, consultants, and internal departments. Initiate changes, track progress, and audit outcomes while leveraging internal knowledge to close open items efficiently. Support corporate initiatives by releasing communications, generating reports, and tracking customer feedback. Attend client meetings, present information to large groups, and conduct training on new processes and procedures. Stay current on product changes, industry trends, and regulatory updates through staff meetings and webinars.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Business Administration, Communications or a related field, or equivalent combination of education/training (minimum high school diploma or GED)
- 3 years support experience in a financial service, health insurance, customer service or related environment
- Knowledge of health insurance products and sales and service operations (underwriting, stop loss, benefit plan design, funding)
- Intermediate MS Office Skills (Excel, Word and Power Point)
- Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field
- Equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the role may substitute for a degree
- 4 years support experience in a financial service, health insurance, customer service or related environment
- Solid knowledge base of Underwriting rating principles, funding arrangements and renewal developments
