Job Summary
Disability Support Worker needed in Seymour, VIC for Accommodation & Living team. Deliver person-centred care aligned to each participant's goals, health needs, and daily living requirements. Role requires availability for early mornings (6am-9am), evenings (3pm-10pm), a minimum of three sleepover shifts per fortnight, and weekend work; operate within a supportive, collaborative team with opportunities for development and career progression. Practical duties include medication management, PEG feeding, mealtime management, and adherence to NDIS requirements; requires resilience, professionalism, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months experience in disability or related field
- Certificate III in Individual Support (highly regarded)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- Competency in Medication Management and Administration
- Experience in Mealtime Management, including PEG feeding
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Employee Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Capacity to meet the physical requirements of the role, including manual handling
- Ability to provide two current professional references
