Job Summary
As an Accessory Category Manager at Ashley Furniture, you'll engage in trend research, product development, and vendor management to curate a compelling accessory assortment. This role involves sourcing domestic and international accents, collaborating with design teams, negotiating with suppliers, and analyzing sales data for effective product planning. Strong interior design knowledge and expertise in merchandising are essential, along with analytical skills to manage market introductions and pricing strategies. A bachelor's degree and at least five years of relevant experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Fashion, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 5+ years of experience in assortment planning, merchandising, and/or product planning
- Moderate domestic and international travel required
- Flexible schedule with willingness to work extended hours when necessary
