Accessories Shop Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Accessories department, trains and supervises technicians, plans and tracks workflow to ensure timely movement and delivery, assists with disassembly/inspection/repair/modification/assembly/testing of components, troubleshoots issues to meet OEM and customer specifications, and ensures compliance with OEM instructions, FAA guidelines, and quality standards. Plays a hands-on leadership role in inspection, repair, overhaul, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of landing gear components, ensures proper training and qualification of personnel, and drives continuous improvement in throughput, quality, safety, and documentation. Strong knowledge of FAA Part 145 regulations, precision measurement tools, and software (Microsoft Office Suite, Excel) is required, along with excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to manage workloads and provide clear direction to the team.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred
- Extensive background in the field of landing gear maintenance with a minimum of 5 years’ experience preferred
- Knowledge of FAA part 145 repair station regulations
- Ability to plan and schedule work requirements and to direct skilled technicians in the daily performance of their duties
- Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills

Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred
- 5 years landing gear maintenance experience preferred
- FAA Part 145 repair station regulations knowledge preferred
