Job Summary
Retrieve and stage products using a forklift based on daily and weekly load schedules, then secure items on pallets with bracing and banding. Operate an overhead crane, load various trailer types, and manage inventory transfers, requisitions, and order closures within the MES system. Handle special product requirements including drying and thawing, while preparing shipping paperwork and processing FedEx shipments. Perform general housekeeping duties and support other departments as needed. Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, adhering to all safety procedures and proper lifting techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to read and understand production paperwork
- Ability to use hand tools and measuring equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate a forklift and other equipment as required
- Ability to learn and utilize computer systems, including MES and XA
- Strong commitment to safety and proper lifting techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production and shipping environment
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs; team lift products weighing more than 75 lbs
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as required
- Must follow all safety procedures and use proper lifting techniques
