Job Summary
The Accessories Master Mechanic performs maintenance to service, repair, and overhaul aircraft to insure airworthiness, reading schematics and applying technical data to execute repair work while aiding leads and working under minimal supervision. Duties include wiring/electronics-related tasks, ordering parts, maintaining paperwork, contributing to 5S/LEAN practices, and supporting engineering during repair scope development. Requires ability to interpret electrical schematics, advanced soldering skills, and knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics; some travel may be required. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:30am–2:00pm; relocation and a $6,500 sign-on bonus are available.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years’ recent component maintenance, commercial aircraft maintenance, and/or MRO experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics
- Possesses advanced soldering skills (Thru-hole, SMD)
- Basic knowledge of electrical connectors, removal and installation of connector pins
- Ability to troubleshoot at the component level as related to electronics
- Knowledge of hydraulics and related actuation/test setup
