Job Summary
Accessioning Team Runner on-site in Austin, TX. Responsibilities include sorting and transporting packages from the Shipping dock to the Accessioning laboratory, picking up packages from the receptionist’s desk, scanning tracking numbers into a Google spreadsheet, distributing packages to the Clinical Data Operators, rack-and-sort bulk kit samples, ensuring paperwork matches samples, escalating issues, managing PHI privacy, handling biohazard waste, scanning documents and worksheets, maintaining tidy workstations, organizing requisition forms, disposing of forms after retention periods, and performing other duties as assigned. Role requires HIPAA/PHI privacy training within 30 days of hire and completion of Natera training requirements. Knowledge of Google Docs and basic calculations, strong organization and efficiency, and ability to work in a lab environment with PHI exposure are expected.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
- Previous computer experience
- Familiar with Google documents
- Ability to perform basic calculations
- Organized and self-motivated
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Must maintain a current status on Natera training requirements
- Employee must complete HIPAA/PHI privacy training within 30 days of hire
