Job Summary

Research best practices in programs and outreach for disability populations while collaborating across departments to support initiatives like Access Ambassadors, Passport to the Arts, and Lincoln Center Moments. Plan and support Relaxed Performances for neurodivergent audiences, design and analyze audience feedback, and implement staffing accommodations for events. Welcome participants in programs for individuals with dementia, manage registration and correspondence, and contribute to in-school skill building workshops and job coaching. Complete a capstone project demonstrating innovation in program development. Work flexible hours including weekends to accommodate family engagement, with up to 20 hours per week at $28/hour.

Required Qualifications

  • current or recent graduate student in Disability Studies, Special Education, Social Work, Museum Studies/Education, or other similar programs
  • This Fellowship is 10 months
  • up to 20 hours/week
  • mainly in person with some remote hours
  • required to work flexible hours, including weekdays, nights, and weekends
  • events for our Passport to the Arts programs occur on Saturdays and Sundays

Desired Qualifications

  • Candidates with personal or professional experience with disability are strongly preferred
