Job Summary
Shadow skilled technicians during repairs and inspections while learning preventive maintenance techniques and using diagnostic software to identify issues. Document machine details and repair work on service orders, including parts and fluids used, to keep the team informed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, showing care for tools and machines. This paid internship is available to college students enrolled in approved Heavy Equipment Service or Diesel Technology programs with a 3.0 GPA, located in Chandler, Arizona. Candidates must have valid work authorization and no company sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in or attending an approved Heavy Equipment Service, Diesel Technology, or technical service program recognized by RDO Equipment Co.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Solid attendance record
- Experience using mechanical tools
- Strong computer skills
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Valid work authorization
- Ability to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
