Job Summary
The Access Specialist serves as the first point of contact for clients seeking wellbeing services, performing intake and administrative duties to connect clients with psychology services. Responsibilities include face-to-face and virtual client interactions, scheduling across providers, answering questions, assisting with accessing recommended services, maintaining accurate EHR data, processing paperwork and signatures, updating demographic and financial information for revenue management, and providing administrative support for test administration and scoring in collaboration with the Licensed Psychologist. The role requires strong customer service, data-entry accuracy, compliance with policies, and the ability to assist across registrations, referrals, insurance verification, and co-pay collection.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must pass a criminal background check through MN DHS NetStudy
- Access to a personal vehicle and ability/willingness to use it for position responsibilities
- Valid driver’s license and be insurable under the agency’s automobile insurance policy
- Free from substance use problems for a period no less than 2 years
