Job Summary
Access Services Manager oversees the day-to-day Patient Access operations for a designated clinic or area, supervising a team of direct and indirect reports (minimum ~20). Ensures performance aligns with department standards, advocates for enhanced patient access, maintains high customer service levels, and participates in on-call coverage. Responsibilities include hiring, onboarding, training and development of staff; conducting annual trainings and coaching; conducting employee evaluations; monitoring performance via quality and productivity audits; implementing process improvements; promoting PFCC values; ensuring compliance with Joint Commission standards and facility safety; and managing communications and team meetings. Preferred qualifications include advanced knowledge of Epic system and payer requirements. The role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to lead a multi-location team, and ongoing collaboration with CABC/ICE/UAMS policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Nine (9) years of patient registration, billing, and/or scheduling in a healthcare environment
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or a related field
- Five (5) years of experience in patient registration, billing, and/or scheduling in a healthcare environment
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience AND Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
