Job Summary
Capture demographic and insurance information via telephone or patient-facing interactions, utilizing eligibility applications to verify coverage and interpret payer responses. Collect financial responsibility from patients based on eligibility estimates or service renders through cash, credit card, or check. Perform accurate patient lookups, scan online forms, and manage Electronic Health Records while explaining regulatory forms and obtaining signatures. Discuss financial obligations with patients and answer questions regarding their coverage. Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Third Party Payer regulations during high-stress, multi-system interactions. Saturday flexibility is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- 1-3 years applicable experience

- Hospital or Clinic setting office experience
- Proven customer service skill with ability to exceed expectations
- Ability to multi-task in stressful and high patient volume unit
- Ability to learn in classroom setting; utilizing resources
