Access Representative I - West Fairfield

Greet patients in person or on the phone, driving a positive customer service experience while managing multiple priorities. Accurately input patient data into the Electronic Health Record system, capture demographics and insurance information, and verify eligibility through proper variation systems. Schedule appointments with providers, place reminder calls to confirm visits, and collect cash, credit payments, and co-pays while reconciling transactions at shift end. Enforce patient privacy guidelines, screen patients using designated protocols, and assist with new staff training. Maintain a safe reception area, process incoming mail, and submit weekly logs for presumptive eligibility. Work Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (some Saturdays), earning $24.21 to $29.59/hr.
