Job Summary
Answer phones, provide client information, and assist with scheduling appointments and reminder calls. Maintain client data tracking spreadsheets in internal and external databases while completing registration details with consistent accuracy. Verify insurance eligibility, assist clients with obtaining benefit information, and collect payment for services when appropriate. Process referrals for various behavioral health programs and assist with specimen handling for point-of care urine drug tests. Maintain a clean and organized lobby, update bulletin displays, and ensure an environment of confidentiality. This role supports the Access Supervisor and program staff at CommuniCare+OLE's federally-qualified health centers across Napa, Solano, and Yolo Counties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- BLS Certification
- Some travel
Desired Qualifications
- Administrative and customer service experience in a medical office, hospital or clinic
