Job Summary
Director, Access & Reimbursement leads a field-based team of ARMs responsible for access and fulfillment activities across nephrology accounts, implementing and optimizing a patient access strategy, mentoring staff, and ensuring physicians, patients and caregivers can initiate and stay on therapy. Builds cross-functional collaboration with Patient Experience, Specialty Pharmacy, Market Access and Field Sales; develops regional business plans, analyzes KPIs, travels up to 50% to support field execution, and fosters relationships with key accounts to streamline the onboarding of therapies. Preference for residence in or near Dallas, TX or Denver, CO, with proximity to a major airport; role requires a Bachelor’s degree and extensive pharma/biotech experience, leadership in reimbursement, and strong communication and project-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required
- 10 years pharma/biotech or related experience
- 5+ years experience in specialty medicines including deep understanding of access & reimbursement landscape (HUBs, Payers, Specialty Pharmacies)
- 3+ years experience as a field reimbursement manager
- 3+ years experience as a first line team leader with coaching and people development
