Job Summary
This role handles access navigation/referral management for patients, including scheduling appointments and coordinating referrals via online work queues. The individual will provide exceptional customer service to patients and providers, collaborate with the Regional Referral Center and Clinic Concierge, and maintain organized records to facilitate flow and retrieval of information. Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and able to communicate clearly, work across departments, and understand relevant compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience in appointment scheduling, customer service, or related field
- Proficient with Windows-style applications and various software packages
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present information clearly and professionally
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments
- Effective data entry and retrieval of information
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in handling difficult/escalated situations
