Access/Intake Coordinator (Multilingual)

Serve as the initial point of contact for individuals seeking multicultural counseling and community support services via phone, email, referrals, or in-person interactions. Conduct initial mental health and substance use screenings to gather necessary information, then triage cases to determine appropriate services or levels of care. Schedule intake appointments, coordinate enrollment into behavioral health programs, and collaborate with clinicians and external providers to ensure accurate client placement. Maintain accurate client records, including demographic data and assessment results, while entering information into electronic health records systems. Generate reports on intake and referral activities, communicate appointment reminders and documentation requirements to clients and families, and adhere to all privacy regulations such as HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
