Job Summary
Coordinate patient care across referring physicians, hospital and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, positive care experiences. Manage new and urgent patient workflows, verify insurance coverage, coordinate referrals and authorizations, and schedule appointments and follow-up care. Support patient communication via phone, patient portal, and Vocera. Perform front-office duties such as checking patients in/out and maintaining accurate EMR documentation to support daily operations and quality care.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Three to five years of experience in a private medical office and/or outside facility
- One year of surgical scheduling and/or patient access
