Job Summary
Monitor and control facility access by verifying visitor identification, approving requests, conducting background screenings, and managing badge issuance. Supervise the contract guard force, train them on security procedures, and oversee key inventory processes. Investigate security violations, perform CCTV scans for unusual occurrences, and maintain alertness to report trespassing or emergencies. Assist the security manager with incident reports and support emergency evacuation efforts. Oversee writing of daily and incident activity reports while ensuring compliance with CMMC Program requirements.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in physical security and/or personnel security
- Proof of US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) or Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance
