Job Summary
As an Access Control Field Installation Technician, you will perform and maintain installation, maintenance, and repair on access control systems and door hardware locking systems. Responsibilities include installing data lines for network access, door hardware, and programming access for team members. You will also troubleshoot hardware and software issues, conduct maintenance on access control devices, and generate management reports. This role requires knowledge of access control systems, life safety codes, and low voltage wiring, as well as possession of a valid driver’s license and MN Power Limited License. Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Possess and maintain a MN Power Limited License (preferred)
- Knowledge of Access Control systems and Life safety codes
- Knowledge of locking systems
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring and telecom standards
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in C-Cure 9000
- Experience with institutional locking hardware
- Good troubleshooting skills
