Job Summary
Register patients into the EPIC system, obtain required signatures per state and federal guidelines, and conduct interviews to verify demographics, insurance information, and eligibility. Scan necessary documents, collect applicable co-pays, and review the work queue on a consistent basis. Perform these duties at UHS Binghamton General Hospital or UHS Wilson Medical Center in an evening rotational shift.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years experience in similar field
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA)
- 5 years equivalent experience in lieu of degree
