Job Summary
Schedule physician-ordered tests and complete accurate patient registrations while educating visitors on required documentation and navigating insurance or financial questions. Collect copays, standard deposits, and deductibles in accordance with regulatory policies, and resolve patient inquiries using strong verbal and written communication skills. Adapt to dynamic workflows and manage multiple computer applications to coordinate care with ancillary departments and physicians. Maintain consistent accuracy and follow departmental guidelines for data collection and point-of-service transactions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Degree
- 1 - 2 years' experience Customer Service
- Ability to operate multiple computer applications
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Typing speed of 35 wpm
- Medical terminology
- Weekend, Holiday and On Call Commitment
