Job Summary
Access Analyst at The University of Kansas Health System (Lenexa, KS) focusing on partnering with ambulatory practices to optimize patient access. Responsible for building and maintaining physician templates, visit types and blocks within EPIC Cadence, ensuring integration with enhancement technologies, analyzing dashboards, prescribing improvements, and collaborating across departments (Ambulatory Operations, HITs, Revenue Cycle, Analytics & Reporting). Must be EPIC Cadence certified, with experience in scheduling workflows, templates, and data analysis to identify access barriers and drive capacity management improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University
- 3 or more years of healthcare clinic operations with familiarity with EHR scheduling workflows and/or revenue cycle experience that included knowledge of operational scheduling strategies, clinic throughput and performance improvement.
- Proficiency/Certification in Cadence as recognized through EPIC OR 7 or more years of healthcare clinic operations with familiarity with EHR scheduling workflows and/or revenue cycle experience that included knowledge of operational scheduling strategies, clinic throughput and performance improvement.
