Job Summary
Academy Data Privacy Consultant trainee pathway in the UK focusing on Data Loss Prevention, Microsoft Purview and Defender, incident management, and practical client delivery. Responsibilities include triage and investigation of Data Loss Prevention/insider risk alerts, regular client reporting, data incident investigations and escalations, engaging with client staff on data handling practices, documenting workflows, delivering training and awareness programs, supporting business development, and progressing to full-billable client delivery with expanding responsibilities in policy configuration and confidentiality-compliant security practices. The programme covers structured onboarding, shadowing DLP projects, cert training (e.g., CISMP, SC-401), and evolving into wider consulting activities with a mix of technical delivery and client-facing work.
