Job Summary
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments, develop individualized behavior intervention plans, and lead staff training on evidence-based ABA strategies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure behavioral supports align with student IEPs and data-driven needs. Provide ongoing coaching to staff, maintain accurate documentation and billing, and participate in crisis response on-call rotations. Uphold ethical standards while championing student rights and supporting family reintegration efforts. This safety-sensitive role requires driving individuals served and administering medications as trained.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related field
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Missouri LBA license
- Completion of BACB-approved 8-hour supervision training
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral disorders
- School experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organizational and time management proficiency
- Emotional resilience and professionalism in high-pressure situations
- Strong knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, FBA/BIP development, and data-based decision-making
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data collection systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and ethical professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management systems
- Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to maintain continuous alertness
- Must be able to provide direct supervision
- Must be able to drive individuals served as required
- Must be able to administer medications as trained
