Academy Athletic Trainer

Job Summary
Responsible for evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of Academy players, coordinating sports medicine care, and supporting practice/game coverage and physical development sessions. Will work under supervision of the Chief Medical Officer and Director of Performance Services, maintain injury/treatment logs, prepare field setups and medical equipment, supervise athletic training residents/students, comply with medical policies, and perform additional duties as required. Requires strong communication, self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to work long hours including travel; travel may include international destinations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Masters degree in athletic training from CAATE-recognized program
- NATABOC certification
- Active Ohio Athletic Trainer Licensure or ability to obtain
- CPR Certification
- Background check for working with minors
- Safe Sport training
