Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Conduct 1:1 and small group academic coaching for elementary, middle, and high school students to improve attendance, literacy, and math skills. Monitor individual student progress by collaborating with teachers to collect, record, and analyze data within City Year's student data system. Implement behavior management strategies and create engaging, safe classroom spaces alongside partner educators. Support whole school initiatives through extended day programming, homework assistance, and events recognizing student growth in attendance and behavior.
