Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Coach and mentor elementary, middle, and high school students to improve academic success, attendance, and positive behaviors. Plan and monitor individual student progress while collaborating with teachers on whole-class instruction and in-class assistance. Develop literacy and math skills through varied activities, create behavior management systems, and support extended day or virtual programming including academic enrichment and clubs. Collect, record, and analyze student data in City Year's system to facilitate progress reviews. Create an engaging, safe classroom space and co-lead events recognizing student growth in math, literacy, and attendance.
