Academic Tutor & Mentor (Entry Level, Paid, Full-time)

Coach and mentor elementary, middle, and high school students to improve academic success, attendance, and positive behaviors through 1:1 and small group sessions. Develop literacy and math skills using varied activities, create behavior management systems, and collaborate with teachers to monitor individual progress via City Year's data system. Support whole school initiatives including extended day programming, academic enrichment, and events recognizing student growth in math, literacy, and attendance. Participate in facilitated reviews of student data and co-lead programs fostering leadership and service learning. Begin service by July/August 2025 with 2-4 weeks of training provided.
